Dear Dave:

I am greatly alarmed and concerned to learn that Connecticut may be co-opting monies from their Conservation Fund. As you know, this Fund has proven invaluable to manufacturers of energy efficient lighting products such as Harmony Lighting, Inc. These funds have served to expand the distribution and consumer usage of our products in the State of Connecticut. They also indirectly help us fund the R&D necessary to continually improve the quality, performance and general acceptability of energy efficient lighting products.

The elimination or reduction of these funds will severely impact our business plan for 2003 and beyond. Connecticut sales contribute significantly toward our overall sales goal and the elimination of the Conservation funds will definitely have a highly negative impact. Please provide my comments and concerns to the appropriate parties and let me know if there is anything else we at Harmony Lighting can do.
